I’m Liz.

I recently turned 40. I’m single. And, I’m taking in life and trying to make the most of it one day at a time.

I’m vegan (mostly for health reasons and I don’t judge carnivores…. ). I do yoga (just got RYT-200 woot-woot!) I’m a journalist and work for a 24-hour local news channel. That means I spend my day hearing about the sick things people do to each other — which is quite ironic considering all I really want to do is help people live healthier, better quality lives.

I’ve finally reached a point in my life where I’m searching for the real me. I just want to be happy and I want to make people around me happy.

I have good days and I have bad ways, and I’m constantly trying to keep the scales tipping towards the good days.  

The best way I know how to help myself and how to help others is to share my experiences and my love for learning about wellness and nutrition and yoga … and all things related… with whoever will listen. 

So, that’s the reason for this blog. To help you help me make this world a better and happier place!
